We said a fond farewell to Miss Brown who has given enormously
of her talents to the school in the past nine years.

and wish her all the best in her new school.

Congratulations to our Year 4 children who are mastering the violin after just ten weeks of tuition. They have treated us to a lovely concert in school - Royal Festival Hall, here we come!

The Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children  have  worked extremely hard to prepare for their Christmas production of ‘It’s a Cracker’. The story is centred around the Christmas lunch table, but brings us to the stable where Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and the story of love that is at the heart of the celebration of Christmas.

The Year 5 and 6 cross country teams competed in the borough finals at King George's Park and we were delighted to be placed third.

We were  delighted to see so many of you join us on Wednesday evening for the open school and Governors’ event.  Small wonder that the standard of each performance was so high, with so many flourishing children!

Congratulations to the Holy Ghost cross country squad who won the cluster competition at Tooting Bec Common, and thanks to Miss Brown for managing the event.

Opening of St. Catherine’s Arts’ building
Thank you for making Friday’s blessing and opening of St. Catherine’s Arts’ building such a success. Once more, the children were enchanting, and a source of pride. To have raised over £90,000 from your generosity direct to the building appeals’ fund, the “Friends” fund and from gift aid is simply stunning! Thank you. Every penny given to us directly has been spent on completing the building, but you have the joy of knowing that your contributions are benefiting your children now. I received a card from Bishop Pat this morning. He commented specifically on the children’s work for the ceremony, and said he was particularly impressed with the support we receive from you, our parents. Make sure to look for your name on our commemorative plaque.
