Holy Ghost Catholic Primary School

The Holy Ghost Parent & Teacher Association

The PTA plays an important part in our school, organising events that our children can take part in and where any profit made goes towards the children’s education.

Who is the PTA?

The PTA is a friendly group of Holy Ghost parents who organise a range of events and fundraising activities on behalf of the school. Anyone can join!  If you are interested in learning more, please come speak to one of the members below, or you can always email us on HGPTA@hotmail.co.uk.

This year's PTA is made up of:

  • Rafaella Binetti
  • Sarah O'Reilly
  • Meaghan Whyte
  • Lourdes Duran
  • Sophie Willis
  • Siobhan Reynolds Paul
  • Alice Harkins
  • Finola McNulty
  • Danielle Fearnon

How does the PTA work?

Each year, the school provides the PTA with a "wish list" of projects they would like support in funding.

The PTA Committee is responsible for the planning and logistics of fundraising events, coordinates communications with Class Reps and the wider school community.

Class reps are the voice of each class on the PTA and they coordinate support for events and organise class social events throughout the year

How can you help?

  • Your ideas! Please contact your class rep or the committee directly if you have a fundraising or social idea. We'd really like to hear things that have worked elsewhere.
  • Your time! By far our most precious commodity. There are lots of ways you can volunteer, come speak to us!
  • Your support! Attending events, purchasing raffle tickets, baking cakes, donating prizes, shopping online via easyfundraising or AmazonSmile - all of your support is greatly appreciated!
