Please find below the information for both Reception applications and Year 1-6 In Year applications.
Reception Class Admissions - September 2026/2027 entry
Applications for a Reception place to Holy Ghost Primary School are comprised by the following:
1. E-Line application - Please apply for a place for your child online, via the Borough in which you live. If you are a Wandsworth resident then you may apply online at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/admissions.
2. Certificate of Catholic Practice - If you are applying under the Faith criteria, please ensure you make an appointment to see your Parish Priest where you usually attend, to complete a Certificate of Catholic Practise.
The Certificate of Catholic Practise is available from the school office if required.
3. Admissions Form - For all applications we require a completed Admissions Form.
Submission Dates:
All E-Line applications must be received by your local borough by 15th January 2026.
The Certificate of Catholic Practice and Admissions Form must be submitted directly to the school office by 15th January 2026.
All applications received shall be ranked according to the Holy Ghost Admissions Policy 2026-2027.

Appeals:
The Primary Schools Admissions Appeals Timetable for 2026-2027 applications is yet to be confirmed, the dates may be similar to those of 2025-2026 as per below:
In Year Admissions Year 1-Year 6 for 2026-2027 entry
We sometimes have vacancies in other years across the school (Year 1 to Year 6). To apply for an in-year admission for 2026-2027:
- Complete and return an Admissions Form to join our waiting list.
- If you wish to be considered under the faith criteria, please ensure you make an appointment to see your Parish Priest where you usually attend, to complete a Certificate of Catholic Practise.

In Year Admissions for 2025-2026 entry
If you have recently moved into the Balham area, and would like to apply for a place for the 2025-2026 academic year, the process is very similar.
- Complete and return an Admissions Form to join our waiting list.
- If you wish to be considered under the faith criteria, please ensure you make an appointment to see your Parish Priest where you usually attend, to complete a Certificate of Catholic Practise.
- Submit the Admissions Form and CCP to the school office.
If we have space available and are able to offer a place, we will contact you directly.
